Monthly Desktop Calendar – DIY (Homemade Monthly Calendar)

Hello there,
This March 1st, 2021 I decided I would get my life “in order”, once and for all!
Starting with a monthly desktop calendar.
Earlier in the day I had visited Amazon and to my surprise there weren’t many desktop calendar design options available…now that I think about it, Etsy might have been a better option, but I’m not sure of the shipping time and I knew I wanted my calendar ASAP.
Anyway, as I clicked and clicked around Amazon I just wasn’t finding anything that inspired me. So I quickly asked myself, what might the perfect monthly desktop calendar look like? It was then that I was inspired to try making my own.
Plus, though very inexpensive, I didn’t see the point in paying for something I could easy make with materials I already had at home, in abundance. And what if it turned out I didn’t like using the desktop calendar? Then my money would have been wasted.
However, with a homemade monthly desktop calendar – DIY, I could just recycle it if I don’t like it and not feel as wasteful in the end.
Long story short, I am loving this quick, simple DIY y’all!
What fun is was creating this little calendar! I feel so accomplished and a sense of calm to have so many ideas written down with due dates and STRUCTURE!!! I have so many ideas flowing through this brain of mine and often feel like I don’t know where to start. Well, let me say, having my ideas laid out on this DIY calendar is a game changer and has been so uplifting and inspiring. My mind feels so much clearer and I am already looking forward to making April’s!
Moreover! I now have enough blog and video content scheduled and detailed for the MONTH! And, as I type this post, I have since shot or recorded almost all of the videos and photos I have listed on my calendar. I’m telling you, it’s so gooooooood.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
-Ruler
-Pencil
-Colored pencil or Marker
-Construction Paper
-Stickers (if you’re feeling whimsical)
