Where do I start? This was my first time to Tanzania, Africa. Actually, my very first time to Africa. I hope this serves as travel inspiration if you’re considering making a trip to the Mother Land.

I didn’t know what to expect, so traveled there with an open mind and heart.

To be honest there were a few tears shed for good and not so good reasons, but over all my first time in Africa is something I will always cherish.

In fact, my goal is to visit another country in Africa before traveling anywhere else internationally.

To be specific (but no specific order), Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and Côte d’Ivoire are places I’d love to visit next.

*When traveling from America be prepared to jump thru all sorts of hoops on your voyage to Africa.

I feel like it was such a production getting there, especially as compared to traveling to Europe😩😒.

However, I was ready!

Come hell or high water, I was gonna get to Africa.

*One of my favorite affirmations: I get what I want.
