I was doing my bi-weekly, Trader Joe’s, flower run and the idea to create this Rich B*tch How-to popped into my mind and I could not help but laugh and shoot it.
Fresh flowers make me feel even richer!
How wonderful is it that something so small can bring so much joy and raise our vibrations? Consequently bringing us all of the things we truly need and desire?
Know what else makes me feel like a Rich B*tch?
Drinking water from a crystal wine class…ahhh, it really is the small things. HA!

How to Keep Your Flowers Happy
Remove Leaves
Take away any leaves that sit on the lower portion of the stem that might be sitting in water. This decreases the chances of bacteria getting into the water, causing your flowers to die sooner.
Cut Stems at an Angle
This gives your water more surface area, which will extend the life of your bloom!
Change Your Water
I like to change the water in my flowers everyday or every other day. I run the stems under room temperature water and clean the vase with a tiny bit of soap and bleach (or warm water at the very least and wipe away any visible dirt/crud).
Bleach?!
*Moreover, I have found that adding a few drops of bleach to your newly freshened water prolongs the life of the flowers as well! Please try and write me back!
*And if you’re really gangsta, while you’re at it, give the stems another little trim too.

I received some long stem pick roses from my friend on yesterday. I thought I read some where about adding bleach to prolong the life of the flowers. So thanks for that info.
